• Establishing rapport with the Dental Surgeons who wish to be teachers and keep them abreast with new, relevant and advanced knowledge through continuing training programs.
• Providing a forum for experienced dental teachers to communicate and exchange knowledge on recent trends.
• Conducting periodical conferences and meetings for the members of the association.
• Encouraging research in the dental specialty conducted independently or under the auspices of the association.
• Organizing courses on the teacher training programs and recent developments in the field of Dentistry.
• Establishing rapport with the Dental Council of India, Union, National and International apex bodies to advise on the various aspects of dental educationists’ programs and research.
• Promoting the publication of Scientific Literature, including a journal of the Association, which would be dynamic in nature and shall have the possibility to adapt itself to the needs of the association.
• Making efforts to improve the curriculum of the undergraduates, postgraduates or super specialties (PhD).
• Collection, management and disbursement of the funds for any or all of the objectives of the association.
• Accepting endowments and grants from individuals or societies, official or non-official, government or non-government, national or international.
